Lately emails take a full minute to load

I love Sparks simple but super customizable UI. I rarely find myself making use of all the customization options in an email app, but Sparks options are well thought-out without being too complicated. Design choices like having a filled dot for unread emails and an empty dot for emails that you read but marked unread again help a ton with keeping track of emails. The best part is being able to separate out unread emails in the Smart Inbox. This is the first time Ive felt like my email app has been working with me instead of trying to impose too much of its own email organization method (and Im a bit of an email app fanatic, so Ive tried them all, and all kinds of methods).

However, in recent weeks, there has been an issue that is getting to be a dealbreaker. The first few emails load fine, but as soon as I get to slightly older messages, the loading spinner sits there spinning for a LONG time. Often for at least a full MINUTE, no exaggeration. Occasionally restarting the app helps, but less so now. Ive emailed Spark about this but never heard back :(.
